More milestones achieved, Jabarjung crowned U-16 Welterweight Champion and Jarnail U-16 Super-Welterweight Champion

London, Jun 07 (Amanjit Singh Khaira) Jarnail Singh Gill and Jabarjung Singh Gill "Twin Stallions" who have created history in the world of Muay Thai boxing. From humble beginnings as young students under the guidance of Master Crew Jompop, these brothers embarked on a journey that would lead them to becoming world champions. His dedication, skill and unwavering determination have earned him many accolades and the distinction of being the first Sikh to become an official champion in the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and the World Boxing Council (WBC).
At the tender age of six, twin stallions General and Jabarjung began their journey in Muay Thai. Advised by Raj Singh Randhawa he joined the Kiatfontein Gym and excelled under Master Crew Jompop. In 2015, they started interclub competitions in the UK. On February 11, 2018, General Jr. became the British Open Muay Thai Champion, and on April 7, Jabarjung won the prestigious British W.M.F. Won the Muay Thai Champion title. They continued to win championships at various levels throughout the year.
On 9 September 2018, the Twin Stallions aimed to earn a place on Team Great Britain for the 2019 World Championships in Germany by competing at the WFMC British Grand Championships. With both Jarnell and Jabarjung excelling in their respective weight classes, they emerged as WFMC British Muay Thai Grand Champions, cementing their position in the team. In May 2019, he further proved his skills by winning the WKU Junior World Cup tournament, becoming the WKU Junior World Cup World Champion. In October 2019, the Twin Stallions traveled to Germany with Team Great Britain for the World Championships, where they won all of their bouts and were crowned New World Champions and gold medalists for Team Great Britain.
On 19 February 2022, the twin stallions, Jabarjung and Jarnail, became the first Sikhs in history to be crowned IBF champions in the U-16 bantamweight and lightweight categories. Last month on May 6, 2023, they achieved another milestone by becoming the first Sikh brothers to be officially sanctioned as WBC Muay Thai boxing champions, with Jabarjung as the under-16 welterweight champion and Jarnail as the under-16 super-welterweight.
