EATING FRUIT

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths.

It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and *when* to eat the fruits.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS!

FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

If you eat fruits on empty stomach, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities. 

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD

Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit.

The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so due to the bread taken before the fruit.

In the meantime the whole meal of bread & fruit rots and ferments and turns to acid. 

The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals !

You have heard people complaining : 

Every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc.. etc..

Actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach.

The fruit mixes with the putrefying of other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat !

Greying hair, balding, nervous outburst and dark circles under the eyes all these will *NOT* happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. 

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the  *SECRET of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.*

When you need to drink fruit juice - *drink only  fresh fruit juice,* NOT from the cans, packs or bottles.

Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. 

Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. 

You only get its taste.

Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice.

If you should drink the fresh fruit juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. 

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse or detoxify your body. 

Just eat fruits and drink fresh fruit juice throughout the 3 days.

And you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look !

KIWI fruit

Tiny but mighty. 

This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE

An apple a day keeps the doctor away? 

Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby _helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke._ 

STRAWBERRY

Protective Fruit. 

Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging and free radicals. 

ORANGE 

Sweetest medicine. 

Taking 2-4 oranges a day may _help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer._

WATERMELON

Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which _helps boost our immune system._

They are also a key source of lycopene the cancer fighting oxidant.

Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium. 

GUAVA & PAPAYA

Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.

Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation.

Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

Drinking COLD water or drinks after a meal = CANCER

Can you believe this ?

For those who like to drink cold water or cold drinks, this article is applicable to you. 

It is nice to have a cup of cold water or cold drinks after a meal.

However, the cold water or drinks will solidify the oily stuff that you have just eaten.

It will slow down the digestion.

Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.

It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into FATS and lead to CANCER !

It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.

Labour have today (Thursday 21^st November) unveiled their election manifesto, outlining a programme for real change which will transform the lives of millions. After nearly a decade of austerity, Labour’s “manifesto of hope” will build a fairer Britain that cares for all, where wealth and power are shared and no-one is left behind. 

The manifesto contains several announcements that are particularly significant in Warrington South and that Faisal has been lobbying for since his election as an MP. Labour have pledged to review all tolled crossings, paving the way for a potential scrapping or cost reduction of the Mersey Gateway tolls – an issue Faisal continues to campaign for. Labour are the only party in the 2019 election who have pledged to review the tolls. 

Labour have committed to work with 1950’s-born women to design a system of recompense for the losses and insecurity they have suffered as a result of changes to the state pension age. This announcement will have a massive impact on the 6,000 1950’s-born women in Warrington South, whose campaign for justice Faisal has made central to his work as an MP. 

Labour have also pledged to protect free TV licenses for over-75’s. The Conservative Government’s decision to scrap these licenses would see 5,740 households in Warrington South lose their TV license, at a time when loneliness and social isolation among the elderly is on the rise. 

On housing, Labour have formally committed to prioritising brownfield sites for development to protect the green belt - an approach championed by Faisal. Labour will also deliver a new social housebuilding programme of more than a million homes over a decade, with council housing at its heart. By the end of the Parliament, a Labour Government will be building at an annual rate of at least 150,000 council and social homes, with 100,000 of these built by councils for social rent in the biggest council housebuilding programme in more than a generation.

Labour’s manifesto is titled It’s Time For Real Change and has been released alongside Funding For Real Change, a manifesto costing document which sets out Labour’s detailed, fully-costed spending proposals. Labour’s policies will see no tax increases for 95% of taxpayers – the party have committed to ensuring, not just in this election campaign but also in government, that Labour adheres to the fullest openness and transparency about their economic policies and investment programme.

Since his election in 2017, Faisal has prioritised the interests of local people by championing policies which ensure that no one gets left behind. This manifesto is fully  consistent with his approach as MP for Warrington South since 2017 and would unlock the potential of those held back for too long after nine years of Tory rule.

Faisal Rashid, Labour’s Candidate in Warrington South, said: 

 “I’m thrilled with this manifesto – it is full of policies that will transform Warrington and allow our town to unlock its full potential. 

 “Almost a decade of Tory austerity has decimated our communities. In Warrington, we have had years of underinvestment and outright dishonesty from this Government. Parts of our hospital are over 100 years old. Our local foodbank is doubling its size. Local transport links are costly and unfit for purpose. The Tories have presided over a declining and divided country. It’s time for the real change this manifesto will deliver.

 “Today, we’ve unveiled the largest-scale investment programme in modern times to fund the jobs and industries of the future, so that no one is held back and no community left behind. This is a fully costed programme to upgrade our economy and transform our country. 

 I’m particularly pleased that a number of the policies I’ve been lobbying for have been included in this manifesto. Labour have pledged to review all tolled crossings – the only party to do so. ਲੰਡਨ,ਨਵੰਬਰ  2019-(ਗਿਆਨੀ ਰਵਿਦਾਰਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ)- ਬਰਤਾਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਲੇਬਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ’ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲੱਗਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਯੂਕੇ ’ਚ ਦੋ ਫ਼ਿਰਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੰਡ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਦੱਸਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯੂਕੇ ਵਿਚ 12 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਮ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਰੋਸ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਹਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਲੇਬਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਆਗੂ ਇਆਨ ਲੇਵਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦਾ ‘ਦੁਵੱਲਾ ਮਸਲਾ’ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ ’ਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਤੰਬਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਈ ਕਾਨਫ਼ਰੰਸ ’ਚ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੁਲਕ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਨ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਮਸਲੇ ਦਾ ਹੱਲ ਕੱਢਣ ਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਨ ’ਚ ਹਿੱਸੇਦਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਲੇਬਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

With 64.5% per cent of people in the North West not educated beyond an A-level-type qualification, Labour today (Tuesday 12^th November) have announced plans to ensure everyone has access to education and training throughout their life to end skills shortages and “allow our economy to rise to the opportunities of the future”.

 

In a speech in Blackpool today, Labour’s Shadow Education Secretary, Angela Rayner will pledge to put vocational education on a par with university degrees and deliver a radical expansion of lifelong learning to make sure “no one is shut out of education.” 

 

Labour’s plans will enable adults to return to study for free and ensure everyone has the time and support they need to study and retrain.

 

Angela Rayner will say that Labour will “throw open the door” for adults to study, “whether they want to change career, are made redundant or didn’t get the qualifications they needed when they were younger.” 

 

The party says its plans are vital to meet the changing nature of industry - ensuring automation doesn’t leave people without work and we have the skills we need to tackle the climate emergency.

 

Labour’s commitment to lifelong learning is part of our plans for a National Education Service, which will provide cradle-to-grave learning that is free at the point of use. 

 

Labour will provide 30 hours of free childcare to all 2 to 4 year olds, open 1,000 new Sure Start centres, cut class sizes for all 5, 6 and 7 year olds, scrap SATs for key stage 1 and 2 and provide free school meals to all primary school children. The party will also scrap university tuition fees, bring back EMA for sixth form students and bring back university maintenance grants.

 

Britain has a severe skills shortage, particularly in higher technical skills. According to the CBI, two thirds of businesses worry they won’t be able to fill skilled posts. The Conservatives have slashed funding for further education and skills training by 47 per cent and overseen a 25 per cent decline in adults enrolling in education.

 

New research by the Labour party, published today, has revealed that the number of adults achieving qualification in basic skills has plummeted since 2011. In 2011 there were 633,000 adults achieving a qualification in either English, Maths or ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) but this had fallen by 40 per cent to 418,500 in 2017/18. The number of adults currently learning is at its lowest point since 1996.

 

Labour will ensure that everyone can access education and training, throughout their life. We will:

• Enable any adult without A-level or equivalent qualification to attend college and study for them for free;
• Give every adult a free entitlement to six years of study for qualifications at level 4-6 (undergraduate degrees and equivalents such as Higher National Certificates and Diplomas, Foundation Degrees, Certificates and Diplomas of Higher Education in areas such as rail engineering technicians, nursing associates, and professional accounting technicians);
• Provide maintenance grants for low income adult learners to complete their courses;
• Give workers the right to paid time off for education and training;
• Give employers a role in designing qualifications to make sure training is equipping learners with the right skills;
• Support workplace learning and improve basic skills by reversing cuts to the Union Learning Fund;
• Make sure everyone has access to the information they need to return to study through a national careers advice service.

“We don’t just benefit from our own education, we benefit from everybody else’s too.

 

“Tomorrow’s jobs are in green and high-tech industries. We need people to have the skills to take those jobs. By ensuring the ultra-rich pay their way, we can provide training to everybody who needs it.

 

“I’d rather give a break to the worker who wants to learn, than a tax break to the billionaire who wants for nothing. That’s the difference between Labour and the Conservatives.”

The radical expansion of free childcare to all exceeds the Lib Dems’ offer, and will save families thousands of pounds a year. It will be accompanied by opening a Sure Start centre in every community to “unlock the potential of all our children”.

On Saturday (9 November) Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Shadow Education Secretary Angela Rayner also outlined Labour’s £1 billion investment to reverse the Conservatives’ cuts to Sure Start and open 1,000 new centres in England.

Since the Conservatives entered government, 1,000 Sure Start centres have been closed.

Labour’s plans to radically expand free childcare to 30 hours a week for all 2-4 year olds, which will save families thousands of pounds a year.

New analysis by the House of Commons Library, commissioned by Labour, found that under the expansion of free childcare that Labour will deliver:

-       the average parent of a two-year-old not currently eligible for childcare support would save over £5,000 a year

-       parents with children aged 2-4 who are currently only eligible for 15 hours, would save over £2,500 a year.

Labour’s expansion of 30 hours of free childcare will benefit over 880,000 3 and 4 year olds, and over 500,000 two year olds by the end of the Parliament.

This comes as new analysis shows childcare costs have risen twice as fast as wages under the Tories.

Evidence suggests that early years education for children below the age of four has a positive impact on the life chances of disadvantaged children, but overall disadvantaged children spend significantly less time in pre-school than children from more affluent backgrounds. The attainment gap between disadvantaged children and their more advantaged counterparts is already evident when children begin school aged 5, with a gap between them the equivalent of 4.3 months of learning. This gap more than doubles to 9.5 months at the end of primary school, and then more than doubles again to 19.3 months at the end of secondary school

 

Labour will unlock the potential of all our children by:

-       Rolling out 30 hours of free childcare a week for all 2-4 year olds to give all our children the best possible start in life, saving families thousands of pounds a year;

-       Opening 1,000 new Sure Start centres;

-       Providing free school meals for all primary school children to end the stigma and ensure no child goes hungry at school;

-       Building a million genuinely affordable homes, including the biggest council housing programme in a generation;

-       Investing in our schools, fully reversing Tory cuts to give every school the funding it needs;

-       Ending the public sector pay cap and introducing a Real Living Wage of at least £10 an hour to boost household income;

-       Ending the benefit freeze, the two child limit and scrapping Universal Credit which is pushing families into poverty;
